Paul Palandjian’s career in finance began when he spent 15 years as a Principal and Managing Director for Boston-based Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation, a real estate investment advisory firm that specializes in real estate investment, development, construction management, and asset management. During his tenure, Mr. Palandjian held the positions of CFO and President of the company and worked on the Executive and Investment committees. Mr. Palandjian’s leadership helped the company’s portfolio grow from $200 million to over $1.4 billion across all property types.
Since his career at Intercontinental, Mr. Palandjian joined the UK-based Trinity Group Limited where he serves as a Senior Advisor. In addition, in 2006, Mr. Palandjian founded Somerset Equity Advisors, LLC as a US-based investment management and advisory firm that recently formed a partnership with Trinity in order to combine client lists and develop new business opportunities.
In 2004, Mr. Palandjian was awarded the Boston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Award, which recognizes Boston’s top young executives. Also, he developed the Nine Zero Hotel in Boston, which was ranked number one in the world for best design by Condé Nast Traveler in 2005. In addition, Intercontinental received the National Association of the Office of Industrial Properties, New England Chapter, Developer of the Year Award.
Paul also serves on numerous boards, which include the Board of Trustees at Belmont Hill School, the Board of Directors of the United States Tennis Association Foundation and on the Board of Directors for the Denis Leary Firefighter Foundation. In addition, he also served as a Board of Trustees member for Mount Auburn Hospital.
Mr. Palandjian’s educational background includes a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business University. While at Harvard, he was a Harvard Captain and a world-ranked tennis player on the ATP tour. Mr. Palandjian has been invited on several occasions as a guest lecturer at the Harvard Business School.
Paul currently lives with is wife, Dionne, and their three children.
